Yellow Lady Quilt Block
If you have been reading about the "crooked cabin quilts" book by Pat Sloan, then you may recognize what I'm doing here.
Of course she starts her blocks by surrounding the focus fabric with strings that she pieces together. My option was to get rid of all my tiny scraps & make my fabric, then add strips to reduce the seams. I then surround my focus fabric with the scrappy logs so-to-speak. This block has grown big enough for now, until I get the rest of them done. Then I will figure out whether she needs to be bigger or smaller & pick my border fabric. If you are making crooked cabin quilts, I would love to see your work, so leave me a comment please!
